Also yeah his arena is bloody annoying (mostly because it kills my FPS), but when I failed the quest once and then retried, he just gave up on his arena mostly and fought in a more open space where it was much easier to deal with.
- You can use ElderSeal weapons to ''seal'' away his flame and also prevent him from using Nova
- Or carry Flashpods like any normal hunter should.

Don't play like dark souls, this is more than that, you can use environment, you can retreat, you can lure monster out, don't narrow your mind and think of better plan.
