Easy LBG build for Tempered Kirin

Im HR 130 currently and have seen alot of ppl and topic talking about tempered elder dragon now and how they handle them.
While most ppl suggestion is go with DPS build or GS/Hammer and try to stagger/KO him down, thats really not the best way so far, as i had seen a lot of example of ppl dying in the SoS on tempered elder dragon hunt. So im going to give out one example build how to easily handle Kirin effectively, both dmg wise and survivability wise.

Before we start with the build, i assume that ppl that are reading this are close or at HR 49 and are in the stage where they can hunt "normal" elderdragon effectively.

This build only requires 3 important pieces and no jewels needed.
- Weapons : LBG > Bazel Typhoon II
- Armor : Kaiser mail Beta
- Charm : Artillery Charm III
for addition for Artillery Charm, you can always go with Lumu Vambraces Alpha which give Artillery II

Explaination : This is a Sticky shot LBG build, where you can burst a really powerful dmg when Kirin is KO and can do damage to the monster from any parts of the body even he is in dragon armor.
Sticky Shot bypass Kirin armor totally, and if you can land it on the head it give you a chance to KO Kirin too, which give you a following chance to go in and use Wyvernblast.
Sticky Shot also never crit, so you dont need to build around affinity or weakness exploit.
It also give you a fair amount of range to shoot, so you dont need to be extemely close to the boss.
The main dmg from this build come from Artillery and Special Shot skills(also atk but we only need 4 at most in this build)

While these stuffs are easy to make too! you will encounter alot of Bazelgeuse on the way and for the armor you dont need Teostra gem to make it, plus it also Beta armor so you can use it later on for a better build once you obtain better jewels later.
While making armor, some materials from Teostra also require to make Artillery Charm, so you dont wasted your time to hunt alot of monsters in progress.
The same goes for Bazel Typhoon II since you are going to hunt for Balloon guy to make Lumu Blitz on the way too so you have the materials ready for addition gauntlet for Artillery if normal Teorstra is still too hard for you.

The other parts are totally free! for example feets, you can go with Xenojiva for flinch free or Dober feet for atk 2 or Kushala Daora feet for evade extender 2 or the best one is from Kirin itself which is Kirin feet for more ammo, you can even go with Xenojiva 3 parts for a chance of free shots and extra thunder resistance!
Those free parts is open for you to adjust to your playstyle, someone might need more ammo while someone might need extra evade range.

The downside of this build are
- you need to farm abit of materials before hand since Sticky shot ammo capacity you can hold and can shot is few.
- the recoil might push you back into the Kirin thunder, which will require some practice at first.
- crafting ammo mid fight can be annoying for a new player to Bowgun weapon.

Conclusion : This is a LBG build where you can dmg Kirin from anywhere at anytime in any phases, have a moderate chance to KO Kirin(depends on your aim) and give you a reasonable range to damage him too.
While you still have alot of free parts of armor where you can build around your LBG playstyle at the same time.
And you dont just make a set to just fight 1 monster, since you just need 3 pieces of item to finished of this build, you can even go in unrefined if you dont get a single hit at all from Kirin :3

Crit Draw + Quick Sheath + Any Greatsword + Thunder Mantle = Win

I don't like bowguns. They feel too claustrophobic, I need an overhead view to be able to notice Kirins lightning blasts otherwise I get blown apart by righteous fury. Still, it's nice to read another LBG build that isn't Karma related lol. Thanks.

While slice shot is not a bad idea, but the damage output and lower ammo is inferior to Sticky shot, not to mention that if you play with others Slice shot also do a multiple stagger on players too.

But if you are playing alone then by all means, use whatever you prefer most :3

You mean middle of it body or the upper part body up to neck? because i tried slice on the body but it doesnt reach up to the head point.

Build is more accurate. Set refers to armor set, the 5 pieces of armor you wear. This thing only need 1 piece of armor, a specific charm, and an specific lbg with specific ammo. This is a way to play, a build. Not an armor set you wear.

I just tested it for a Slice Shot, for a Slice Shot to land a full multiple hits on Kirin head, you will need to hit the yellow part(in game Physilogy) of Kirin, which are head and the main body part, but not all the way to the butt, but this is only apply if he doesnt have dragon armor on.
When he have dragon armor on, not all multiple hits will land on it head, which lead to less dps from Slice Shot if it not landed on Kirin head.
