If you have troubles with getting hit often by Nergigante you may want to switch to a full Uragaan armor, which brings enormous additional defense (dont forget to Socket something useful)
Do you have an appropriate weapon ?
The Kedachi Variant on almost every weapon Tree should be very far in by now and should give you sufficiant damage. (There ist also Demondrug and Armorskin for a little extra)
Do you know how to avoid damage ?
This fight is the first that requires the dash jump for evasion, not just rolling away. If you have Problems executing it go to the training arena via your housekeeper cat and try until you succeed in executing it properly. You will need it.
Honestly people, this fight is moderately easy with some preparation and basic understanding of game mechanics. The Multiplayer is NO EXCUSE to try an Elder Dragon in crap gear and not evading its attacks... nuff said :/
As stated the post is about an issue with SOS filter, not saying the fight is impossible or unsoloable, I play with Sword and Shield and tend to support parties with items/cc, however I know its not the best solo weapon so I farmed up and made Kodachi Chargeblade to go solo, but for those who maybe played via horn or HBG and like party hunting more, the SOS is not available to them. Some people prefer solo, some prefer party. My personal preferance is 2 people so its still somewhat challenging but can work in some teamplay. But I dont mind having to solo if needed.
i wish they made it so that you have to solo a monster first before you can join a sos for that monster. its still fine if people join you if you can't solo the monster.
what this stops from happening is noobs getting carried to high hr who then proceed to join in high hr sos and carting continually.
that's why people don't wannt call in sos nowadays because a bunch of noobs just join in and get carted.
rocksteady mantle is noob mode on. makes the game a piece of cake lol
That would be a good idea tbh, though Ive been lucky with people knowing what theyre doing so far, only problem I keep running across is for some reason some people just dont have the urge to heal when needed lol, fighting Blue Rathalos and this dude sitting on 15% hp for past 5 min then finally dies. Just to come back and eventually die again lol
