MhW Transmog

Hola !

I just read something on a forum telling about the possibility to change your character skin (armor only), keeping your equipments stats.

It's a mod called MHW Transmog. It also says that you could possibly be ban (or not) depending on how this mod would be judged as.

So i wanted a few more information before using it. Does someone finally know if this is OK to use or definitely a thing to be banned for ?

That dying amor is so utterly bad in MHW makes it even worse. Why even give me the option to dye amor, if the only thing that changes is the color of some lether strap...

They should just add a transmog option allowing to use already crafted gear of your choice to put over the layer of your "for stats/abilities equipped mixed gear" and the problem would be solved.

Even ability color more than few fragments of an armor would be great

now half my sets are stuck in red because kaiser hands.

Yea some sets looks ugly with just partial coloration of the single pieces

there is many transmog on nexus, MHW Transmogand World of transmog, that have 2 different, 1 all other player can see ur armor, 1 just see on ur PC. can u tell me which 1 are legal?

Transmog and Layer is the same thing. That is why they don't care about it.

There isn't really a lot of DLC armour, it's just the samurai layered armour and it isnt technically DLC it's a deluxe bonus. I don't remember any other layered armours being purchasable on PS4. The stuff you buy is mostly emotes and stickers, the ocassional handler skin. My main problem with mods is that it might mess with your save. I'm fine with losing my gear but my decorations took a long ass time to get.

They didnt say its ok, they only state that FOR NOW they wont take action and NORMALLY shouldnt result in ban. Nothing denies that theyre not collecting information already from now up to the day they decide what to do, and do a single mass ban and then state theyr position officially lol

They will never, ever, ban people because they've been using the Transmog tool. This would be a morally questionable move and the backlash would be terrible.
While I don't see them taking any action ever, if they were to, they'd simply "force" Layered armors back to normal values through a small game update.
