Creating items from radial menu

Im relative new to MH and have seen some videos of "pro players" to know how to improve
One thing I realized is that carrying 2 mega bombs or 3 flash bombs isn't really enough for a mission, as I've seen people creating more items from the radial menus when they run out in the middle of a Battle

To the point: I carry 3 flash bombs and 10 bugs to create more. When trying to make new flash b I manage to do only 1 via radial menu. After that I use it and then create 1 more and so....
What are supposed to be the right inputs to create 3 flash bombs, or 10 mega potions, etc. in a row?
In xbox 360 or PS inputs if possible pls

Us e the "type 2" setting from the options menu, I think that does it.

i use "press right stick to OK" radial menu.
so i just point stick at "craft flash" then spam right stick click to make many. or hold... i kinda forgot

You need to assign the recipe itself to another radial slot.

I'll leave this comment here because I'm curious AF about this. Radial menu got me like "what a terrible idea" at first, but I got used to it pretty quick. Now I think I'm addicted to it :/

Just hit the input for crafting flash bombs multiple times, ie. move the analogue stick there again. I'm slightly confused as to how this didn't occur to you.

You have to set the crafting recipe itself on the radial dial. Then you have to select it, move the joystick off of it, select it again, move the joystick off of it, select it... as fast as you can. If you just put the regular flash pod or whatever on the dial, it will only craft 1 after you're all out, then equip it.

You don't have to set the recipe to the menu.
You just use type 2 radial menu setting, push r3 to select, and then push it multiple times when you're out of an item.
Don't use the release to select. Use push to select and it'll do the rest.

I have flash pods and mega potions left right creating on my quick dial and whetstone as up.

Always carry 10 honey 10 flash bugs.

The ui is good people just struggle because theyre brain dead and not quick paced i can literally create stuff instantly with this setup

Well after trying a lot I wasn't able to do this, still getting just 1 flash bomb if I spam r3 during creation. After getting the first one r3 only do the equip and un-equip thing :/

Seems like I'll have to set the recipe in a slot then

Try holding down r3 on the item. I know I can do it, but it's more muscle memory than conscious action now.
I don't use ammo though, so maybe that's different.

It is... my core items are 10 potion 10 antidote 10 honey 10 mega 3 flash pods 10 flashbugs. This setup will carry you all game.

Set your farm to collect honey and flash bugs all the time you dont need anything else

I also carry nulberries and I use herbal medicine instead of antidotes. It heals poison quicker and gives a small health boost.

tldr: the item bar and radial menu are tied to your item loadout

i can write a guide if there is a need for one, it's unintuitive to say the least.
