So does Fortify work with expeditions?

Just mucking about looking at making new armor sets, and was curious about that. It says it stacks up to twice (which makes sense with a 3 cart mission) but doesn't mension whether it works on an expedition.

If it does, it might be handy for expedition farming. Just purposely get yourself carted twice to have the boost while running around mashing stuff.
