Hero/Warrior streamstone farming

Just curious, what method do you guys use right now for the PC ver?

I know people ran Vaal Hazak / Kirin for them on PS4, what about here? Same?

I've been watching youtube vids and been seeing people say they only come from elders, Hero streamstones, that is.

But here I am, getting one from Tempered Pink Rathian:

Too bad it's hammer, lol

But this kinda got me motivated since repeatedly killing elders isn't really fun. Moreoever I've been doing it solo since multiplayer is kinda meh like the game doesn't want us to actually play together.

That aside, back on question, what do you guys farm for the stones?

Haven't been seeing too many people on PC doing Temper Elders.

Generally just like on PS4, Nerg and Vaal are the easiest to farm. Kirin isn't pug friendly and Teostra can be a pug killer as well, Kushala is annoying to fight so most don't go for him.

With the new update hopefully more people will start to use SOS for Tempered Elders. So far I've just been farming it alone or with a couple of friends when they get on.

It can drop from any tempered investigation quest but elder give you a drop more frequently.

Threat 2s give Warrior Streamstones (R6/7) with a rare chance for Hero Streamstones (R8).
Threat 3s, Elders, reverse the odds, giving a better chance for Hero than Warrior.
As far as i know Threat 1s only drop Decos.
On Console, they updated Threat 1s to give Worn decos, which makes them reasonably good for purely farming Decorations.

I spam Vaal Hazak for hero streamstones. It's the easiest, granted people don't try to face tank his beam like a moron, which still happens occasionally. I've never seen hero on 2star ones, only warrior. Even Hazak rarely gives them.

I don't even bother with the other 4. Kirin, Teostra, and Nergigante have ohko that can't be avoided by simply running beside it or space rolling, which is good for killing noobs. Kushala can still one shot people with it's wind projectile and is somewhat unpredictable, or at least trap people in corners with tornadoes. People say flash this flash that, that doesn't work after 3-4 times.

just keep playing, ive killed every elder dragon at least 50 times and have a 2 of each hero stone and at least 3 of every single warrior stone

The most efficient way to get hero stones right now without temp jho and arch temp elder events are temp kirin investiagtions with anja bow normal shot build. 5 minutes per run solo if your aim is good. But it really depends which elder is easier for you.

For mp.. I would say.. vaal and teo.. you can atleast stunlock him or flash him out of the nova 3 times if randos aren't good enough. Kush, Nerg and Kirin on the other hand are total newb killer right now as long as people dunno how to fight them. Thats actually one of the reasons why I don't play this version right now. I still wait for some weeks to start. I learned my lesson already at ps4 version release.

200 hours under the belt and 0 hero/warior stream stones.

I guess my luck says it all.

Welp, I will just consider that this augment "feature" doesn't exist at all.
