Use Gillie Cloak to stay hidden as they duke it out,

It's easier to do that quest solo.

Pretty much this. You can then use dung pods to separate them for capture.

I used the second strongest GreatSword which imitate Nergigante spikes.
With that I did quite a lot of damage per hit so it didn't take so long to take them.

Dung pod when the two of them where together. Also cutting the tail first is a good idea as that means less bombs.

play solo and learn bazel. i have not seen anyone get stuck at the 29 wall. they have so little amount of hp. very easy to rush it within 10min. if you rely on other players the monster will be strong hit harder and die slower. meaning you are getting carried if you cant play solo.

Well, I did notice monsters have less HP when you hunt them in groups in investigations. Probably the same for this quest.

Get a light bowgun, shoot him in the face and grab some popcorn when the second one comes.

Use a light bowgun, and solo it. The slashing ammo give you very long range and you can dodge easily

i know in other games it was 25% reduced hp per monster scalled after multiplayer scale. people say its more in world because of the base hp increase. and the cap threshhold being higher for none tempered monsters.

never kill them let them damage each other,then capture them did it on my first try

Blowgun is the way to go :)
