effluvia questions (some spoilers)

is there a way to negate the effects of effluvia aside from the few pieces of armor that give this perk? pretty much what im getting at is does a hunting horn exist in game that will negate or mitigate the effects of effluvia especially for Vaal? hes last on my list to hunt of the three elder dragons but im not a fan of constant health loss if its possible to counter for yourself and or team. also on the subject of effluvia for those that dont know the vitalitly mantle will act as a buffer for the damage while it is being worn.

Sometimes slotting decos isn't the answer. In the late game builds get very deco heavy and 3 miasma jewels aren't at all possible. Especially when it comes to tempered Vaal Hazak.

There's also a hunting horn that completely negates the status effect.

Throwing Torch Pods on the floor should get rid of the Effluvia, just around the area you throw them in though. And they dont last forever.

This doesnt clear out vaal hazaks specific effuvial, only the nasty zone specific stuff that is negated by great girros's gloves or waist? Only way around what OP is asking is to either build vaal's 2 pieces that give +3 resistance to it making you immune to build up, or have 3 jewels before you fight him sadly :(.
Also even if you run 3 miasma jewels you can still get the effluvial debuff, though that will only happen if you actually get hit by his beam from what I've seen.

There is a charm for resistance, a decoration. On top of that you can also take the immunity mantle. If you want to get rid of the damage from the aura there is an armor or a decoration, I don't entirely remember, that will remove it, as well as a lot of the other dmg stuff in the rotten vale. The skill is called "Effluvia Expert".

Also, if you don't know you can run away from Vaal Hazak and he will do his "hyper beam" attack. He does this attack when he gathers up the effluvia he shoots out around him, so a good way to clear it is to run away from him a little bit, wait for him to suck it up, then charge back in. It's not fool proof but it can help a lot if you're having trouble.

I hardly take effluvia resistance and just take the immunity mantle and I find my self rarely getting the blight. You just have to pay attention and dip out for a few moments if you feel you're about to trigger the build up.

A distinction needs to be made here.

EFFLUVIA is the chip damage dealt by the orange mist everywhere on the lower floors of the Rotten Vale and by Vaal Hazak's miasma. The fog can be burnt away with Torch Pods or bypassed using Effluvial Immunity or the Ignore Enviromental Effects song some hunting horns and the cat's Coral Orchestra can play. Vaal Hazak's miasma will deal chip damage no matter what.

EFFLUVIAL BUILDUP is Vaal Hazak's gimmick, and does chip damage and blight buildup - upon maxing out, it halves your health bar. It is only caused by his personal fog effects (which are noticeably paler than normal effluvia) and can be reduced or prevented by Effluvia Resistance and the All Ailments Negated song found on Teostra's Ophee.

Throw on the vitality mantle and it'll negate the effects for awhile.

about to test the environmental negate on vaal to see if it works on effluvia but it works on the gas in the vale. u can walk around without damage from it if u use a horn that has it.

The most reliable and possibly easiest way is to farm and use girros pieces.

ok so environmental damage negate doesnt negate effluvia but it does make hunts in the vale much easier if ur in the gas areas since it will negate the damage over time it does.
