effluvia questions (some spoilers)

is there a way to negate the effects of effluvia aside from the few pieces of armor that give this perk? pretty much what im getting at is does a hunting horn exist in game that will negate or mitigate the effects of effluvia especially for Vaal? hes last on my list to hunt of the three elder dragons but im not a fan of constant health loss if its possible to counter for yourself and or team. also on the subject of effluvia for those that dont know the vitalitly mantle will act as a buffer for the damage while it is being worn.

Throwing Torch Pods on the floor should get rid of the Effluvia, just around the area you throw them in though. And they dont last forever.

yeah ive done this before however theres not always a high supply of torchpods to do this so im looking for something more constant.

Unfortunately only having armor or jewels that have Effluvia Resistance well provide what you want.

All else you'll have to eat a nulberry and watch where you fight. IG however can fight above the Effluvia Clouds provided they have the stamina to stay in the air.

I had to google it to make sure lol. I think its true. Like OP said they barely last that long, you shouldnt even try to rely on them tbh. Take some nulberries or miasma skills imo, up to u though

My usual gear I would use for Vaal was a full Vaal set but with great girros pants. Removes the need for nullberry and makes you immune to the gas in the other underground areas of the zone.

Try to farm some miasma jewel decor and put them on, need 3 of them to get immunity to it.

so then the hunting horn melody environmental damage negated wont affect effluvia? im assuming it would only work on like lava spots or somthing then. becuase here in a bit i was gonna at least try it out to see if it did anything.

I'm not sure about environmental damage but the Teostra HH will stop Vaal's attacks and AoE Effluvium from causing a build up. The environmental damage negated might help with the lingering gas around the Rotten Vale though.

EDIT: For reference, Teostra's HH give the "All Ailments Negated" buff.

this will be trial and error then. dont think ill get all the parts and money before i have to go to sleep tonight but if i do ill test them both out and see what exactly they both can do
