I know you weren't asking me, but I kind of agree with their point. To get some of these layered armors you have to beat some pretty challenging content, and then spend materials and RP to get them, so being able to use them without earning them the "proper" way sort of defeats the point. Then again, I think at the very least every armor set should have a layered version. I'm not saying that you shouldn't use mods or anything like that though, if you want to then by all means, go ahead.

Death Stench got a layered variant from Arch-Tempered Vaal Hazak IIRC, I believe dante got on from Arch-Tempered Teostra as well.

I thought you were asking which ones were available in the console version, and those are the ones currently available. They should all come to PC soon enough though. You get the Death Stench set from Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak, and the Dante set from Arch Tempered Teostra.

I get where you're coming from, and I can see that for the ones for things that you get from the arch-tempered monsters in the future. But there are plenty of other regular sets I'd like to just wear as well.

Skins? Do you mean "Full Armor Sets"? Like Ryu and such? There's not many of them, unless I'm forgetting something there's only Ryu, Ryu Alpha, Sakura Alpha, and Aloy (which is PS4 exclusive). They count as regular gear though, with their own stats and skills, except you can't equip single pieces, only the full set or nothing.

There's also a few for the Palico as well: Mega Man (alpha), Moogle (alpha), and Watcher (PS4 exclusive).

I actually mentioned all of the available layered armor pieces a few posts back, including the upcoming dragoon set. You can see it if you scroll up a bit, it's post #65. The person asking me to list them then stated that they meant "skins", so that's why I listed the full armor sets, in case that's what they were referring to.
