Save file won't load up

I crashed at the end of a mission. It was killing the big fish. Unfortunally the game froze when the "Saving" message apperared... I had no choice but to restart the pc...

Any fix please? I have the currupted save and i don't wanna restart from strach from 70 hours of gameplay...

next time make backups of your saves.

i've seen the message about when defeating Xeno'jiva your game can crash and from the day 1 i've bought the game i back up my saves as often as i see fit.

The problem here wasn't Xenojiva. IT WAS A RANDOM MONSTER

Move the save elsewhere so the game redownloads the one from steam cloud. Provided you haven't exited the game after trying to load up your broken save, the one on the cloud will be prior to the crash.

Nope didn't work. It continues to say if i want to load the save over and over again -__-

I've heard some people say they are able to 'recover' the save by downloading the game on a another computer, loading the save on that, saving the game and then going back to their main computer.

That's likely due to you trying to load up your broken save and exiting, causing the game to upload your now broken save to replace the one on the steam cloud. If this ever happens to you again, alt+tab, delete the save when it fails to load and exit.

That's to fix the corrupted save bug that doesn't exist regarding the last boss (actual corrupted saves won't work on ANY PC).

That is to do with Xeno'jiva and the cutscene after killing it and some computers not being able to run it.

your savegame is there C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\RANDOMNUMBER\582010

just back up this 582010 folder as often as you see fit next time.

One more thing you can do is to turn off auto save so it won't save after every end quest. So if there is a crash it wont damage your save file. Just manually save after you load back in Astera.
