What controller are you guys using?
I'm using the xbox one with the wireless USB but I plan to get a second controller.

Any suggestions?

Gotten 2 of those, and they both break within a year of no where near constant use. (Dead zone issues, RB and LB being flimsy af) I just dont have good luck with Xbox controllers these days. (which is a damn shame, I fkn loved that pad while I had it)

I myself have been using a PS4 Pro Scuf controller.

I'm using a PowerA XBox controller. One quick question, is it possible to disable the button press on the left analog stick that activates sprint and sheaths your weapon?

Yes. This was one of the first things I disabled.

How? Is it a setting in MHW?

Yeah, somewhere under controller settings within the game itself. I believe it was under weapon sheating.

Question for steam controller users. What settings are you using for your camera/right analog?

I'm just using the default, mouse-like joystick. Works great. I have the left trigger on full pull set to activate the gyro as a mouse which makes aiming pretty easy. I'm really happy with the way the controls are implemented here. Most of the time using the mouse causes all the button tips to go to keyboard, doesn't here. Steam controller works great on this game.

Using the steam controller, with gyro aim always on for my bow. Works a treat.

Steam Controller FTW!

Xbox wired.

Prefer wired because in the past, I have used Xbox wireless on PC and there are times when battery goes out and I had to scramble for batteries before my character dies.

Currently, an original 360 controller, though I also have the One. I think the Elite model would work best, but Microsoft already announced a revised edition for later this year, so buying one right now would probably not be a good idea. (And the current model seems to have issues with shoulder buttons breaking quickly, as well as analog stick drift.)

Default unless I'm using the bow. Then I switch it to mouse mode with acceleration.

haha i feel you, i got the play and charge kit with wireless adapter, normally im playing rocket league, always have the cable ready to be plugged in so i can move on after like 5 seconds.

i thought rocket league was bad and a bad time to have an empty controller.... oh boi... happened twice to monster hunter already and its alot worse than rocket league haha
