Stuck In Their Ways/A Fire-Spewing Brew Glitch.

I have completed Stuck In Their Ways (Catching a Tobi-Kadachi for ingredients), when the connection to my friend (the host) dropped. I was still able to finish the quest, the quest appears finished in the quest menu, I also got the reward for completion, BUT the quest after doesn't trigger. The scholar, who's supposed to give me the quest just doesn't want to talk to me.

I already restarted the game, to by-pass any "connection issue" from keeping me receiving the quest trigger.

But it's still not there.

Is that the one for the dodogama jaw? Have you fought a dodogama before? I think I had that problem but idk if this is the answer.

I've had a lot of issues with this questline on PC, had none on PS4. A lot of suggestions online weren't helpful. For instance, most of them just suggest talking to everybody in Research base, or looking for ! marks on the map. A lot of what I had to do was collecting ingredients required for turn ins, or fighting specific monsters over and over along with doing other optional quests.

Yeah I found the quests wouldnt pop up unless you had discovered the monster and/or had materials in your inventory for it. Like RRRumble In The Waste wouldnt show up for me until I had "discovered" black diablos.

Yeah, the issue I had for "RRRRRumble in the Waste!" was something I couldn't find online. I already beat the game, completed every optional quest besides the one mentioned, and captured/killed every monster in the game that is available. The only way I got that last optional quest I needed was from "Well, That Diablos!" which isn't apart of the quest chain.

I already have met a Dodogama. Didn't kill one yet. Might this be an issue, too? I even already got parts from him, due to Turf War.

I guess, I could try defeating a Dodogama once and report back, but that'll be for tomorrow.

Let us know when you get a Dodogama Jaw. If that doesnt pop the delivery request then im stumped.

I can confirm, that either killing a Dodogama/doing a quest about it and/or grabbing a jaw DOES unlock progress.

Super silly in my opinion. You should get the quest, but either info about what to get or a "?"

i'll post it here since its the last quest of this quest chain and its a pain to figure out whats wrong. RRRRRumble in the Waste! wont appear without also sighting a high rank black diablos (and no master rank one wont count.)

similarly the master rank quest to unlock the rocksteady mantle upgrade wont show up before sighting a MR black diablos (and possibly doing heat of the moment quest). also has mantle upgrade requirements to pop.

there are events in both cases to find black diablos straight away.
