i heard bandit mantle and lbg with close range mods and a decent dmg gear allows you to farm great jagra quite fast and gives alot of money if you sell everything i think 150 k in 1-2 mins

Get the bandit mantle go for the low rank great jagras quest and use the dual blades (a strong one that is) and profit :D if you do it right you can get about 60k+ in about 10 mins

Investigations. Always investigations. Early game you can get some really easy ones, like kill 6 fish for 10k. If you solo it and use a daily voucher that becomes 20k. Later on you can get some really good paying ones for fairly easy monsters, like 40k for killing a legiana and Odogaron. Use a voucher on that one and don't die, and it becomes 80k.

Upgraded to a new armor (relative to my specific Charge Blade) and want to upgrade that on to ~340 armor value in total. would have to farm also an uraagan jewel to get higher dragon resistance for xeno

1. Get a Bandit mantle. This will have a chance to drop sellable items when you hit a monster. Can get a dozen per fight. So use a weapon that hits fast like Dual Blades or Mini Gun to get the most out of it.
2. Look for a high pay investigation for opponents you can kill in short period of time. Early on this usually means a Great Jagras. Later on you can even do it with Dodogama's.
3. Do NOT kill the target, but instead CAPTURE the target. This is faster then killing, time wise, and capturing also gives more monster parts.
4. Sell all the monster parts, sell all the sellable items from the bandit mantle, receive the payment for the investigation...presto 40-50k in 5mins time. If you are high Rank it gets to 100's of thousands of zeny.

The bandit mantle way didn't generate that much money for me when I used Large Bow Gun so I wouldn't suggest that. This was also with my brother and both doing the same thing. Each one of these material it dropped and it was like 7 of them sold for 1000 each.

Now what I do suggest is this.

1: Find HR missions with max bronze rewards and vs trash mobs that die easily, like Hornetaur, Shamos or Gaujus(Fish in the desert area). Kill them and then just sell all of the loot.
You're usually done in 2 minutes with these missions and they will give you a pretty decent amount.

2: Tackle some low level boss monster on HR and sell all of it's material. Maybe just taking the things you have low off. This too will get you quite a bit of money and it might also get you rare stuff from him.

I made most of my money by beating up trash monsters (like Jagras) in a minute or two in investigations, then selling all his parts. Can handle an HR Jagras in what, 3-4 minutes tops?

Monster Bones are worth a lot and you can farm a lot of them in every zone .
