Just run around him, use a ranged weapon ,he is so slow, his attacks are predictable af. Also he got like 16k hp solo......Just takes really long to kill.

If your melee, stay under him and hit his legs, he literally cannot hit you with the exception of two moves that you can easily tell and dodge.

first time can be a little daunting, but if you can get a good set made hes pretty easy.

just be sure to use the boulders in the first room, there are 4 of em to drop on em.

Bow is a fun weapon to use here. dragonpiercer down the length of the body for a high score. if possible with a bow that can do blast coatings or the diablos bow.

nother fun thing to do with a friend, have one player use a weapon that can reliably launch players in the air like hammer, and play dual blades, have your friend launcher your dual blading ass up to his face and do an air attack, you will now slice down the legnth of his body. pretty much any DB is good for this, ones with blast element on em though are awesome for this strat.

hit his front leg evade the lasser, becareful when he stand up then slam their front leg to the ground don't directly charge to the front leg (there will be explosion after that)

shoot your slinnger( with pierching ammor drop from him) when he fly 3 times at most (single player) he will drop down again

rinse and repeat he's not that hard

edit if you don't have a good multiplayer experience because connection, it's better to solo it, more people enter then disconnected from the room make your monster harder to kill because more player the bigger the monster hp pool ( take me 45 minute with my rare 9 GS to kill the xeno with 3 player disconnected from my room before. Normaly you can finish it in less than 20 minute single player with the same setup)

Its more a battle of mental stamina as it gets boring fast, pwned it eventually dual blades with about 10 mins to spare, attacking its front legs is the best option unless your ranged. When it went into flight mode i didnt bother trying to get a hit in, take advantage of its slow slam which has a large AOE but takes xeno time to recover from, staying just out of range so i can zip back to its front legs.

Sadly its more dependable to solo then to group given inconsistant connections.

If you're getting hit a lot, try attacking back legs from behind since almost all of his attacks hit underneath or infront of him, but don't get too far back then his tail smash will hit you. Also try to keep him backed against a wall so that he can't back up real fast and hit you by surprise.

Don't bother trying to mount him or put him to sleep since he's immmune to those. He drops a lot of various slinger ammo too (pierce, bomb, stinger, and occasionally dragon) if you're hitting him frequently so make sure to try to pick those up as they drop since they can reliably stagger, use them as a pannic button of sorts if he's charging an attack at you.

When he starts flying don't bother trying to attack him too much since he's so fast and only hiss tail is low enough, just strafe around him to avoid his lasers which will only shoot directly at you (he won't lead his shots) and more importantly his dive attack. If you're using elements or statuses bring null berries as his blue flame attacks cause dragon blight which nullifies your elements and statuses.

As with all elder dragons, elderseal weapons are highly reccomended. If you're still dying repeatedly, make sure your armor is fully upgraded and consider getting the Fortitude skill which only needs 1 level to fully activate so it's really easy to get if you have the decoration.

Good Luck!

Hate chasing this thing around the map as a melee... Won't do it. Just upgrade a bow and dragon piercer him over and over right down his spine.
