How to unlock HR Kirin?

I've already unlocked LR Kirin and the Tempered Kirin Quest at HR 49, but still have no clue on how to unlock the normal HR Kirin. So yeah, anybody knows what to do?

I can find "???" Foot Tracks of it, but the progress just won't increase.

you have to find his footprints to get investigations . That also applies to any of the tempered 50+ elder dragons.

Yes, I find its footprints. But the progress bar doesn't increase whenever picking hints up. Either it is just a visual bug, or there is something I need to do at first

There IS a bug listed on the wiki regarding Kirin, I dunno if this is the case for you (as I too have not had anything about it come up in game)

Complete more optional quests, and finish more monster research to 6/6

i think you just keep fighting low rank until the research level is 3 for kirin. Then you'll get it.

Well, I just kept picking up the "???" Footprints even though the progress bar didn't increase and just unlocked the HR Kirin quest. So yeah, apparently it's bugged

Ah, hopefully that's my problem too, good to know for the future.
