Anjanath Leg weakness?
I was playing with some other guy, and towards the end of the anjanath hunt i realised my attacks were deealing ORANGE against the Anjanath's right leg. Is this a result of breaking his legs or perhaps some skill?

Yes, breaking certain parts will make monsters vulnerable.
Also, gunlance's cannon fire ignores monsters' defence.
