definetely not, servers are ♥♥♥♥ right now. DC all the time.

If you already have it on console, the only reason to pick this up on PC is to play it with Steam friends.

or you just want to replay it in high resolution maybe high fps.

for me I bought it because my friends dont have ps4 version, they play on pc.

Depends on your preference. If you want 60 frames and to play with steam friends/not pay extra to play online then yes. Would I recommend the game now? That's debatable. If you enjoy soloing AND online play then yes. If you intend to do nothing BUT online play then wait until you see reports that the game is fixed on the multiplayer end.

no if you intend to play with friends, wait for them fix it, solo is ok.

i put 250 hours overall on the ps4.

im at about 70 hours one week in on the PC.

PC is smoother, better FPS, sharper visuals (yes there is a texture bug, but even then), you get more control over settings, easier screenshots and I find the steam groups are better than squads. The load times are amazing. 6 seconds versus 60! No competition.

YMMV. But I expect to hit 250 hours again, but be much further along. Maybe even hit more hours than that.

Worth the money for me. But my CPU is decent 4770k, so the cpu complaints aren't an issue for me. I've got lots of buffer left. I haven't had a ton of d/c issues lately. Most games run fine with no issue.

But I acknowledge not everyone is in the same boat.

What are your system specs?
BAITness Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:47pm
At the moment this version is inferior to the PS4 version in everything but framerate and loading times.

And I mean everything.

The PS4 version currently has better graphics (both texture resolution and reflections are bugged in the PC version).

The PS4 version currently has functioning co-op (a large percentage of the PC playerbase experiences constant disconnections when playing online, with a very tiny percentage of fanboys claiming there are no issues - despite Capcom acknowledging the issues).

The PS4 version currently has more content (the PC version will be playing catchup on all the added monsters and events slowly over time).

Both the PC and the PS4 version are best played with a controller (the mouse input is completely ass on the PC version. It emulates a joystick. Poorly).

Do you have infinite money? Do you hate yourself? Do you owe Capcom money and fear the repurcussions if you do not find a way to launder $60 to them?

Then you should get this game.

Otherwise you should not. PS4 owners (and everyone else) should not be purchasing this game until there are patches. Even then they should only purchase if all their friends play on PC (and the networking issues are patched) or if they drastically prefer playing with mouse and keyboard (and the terrible mouse controls are patched).

If you already got PS4 version you should just wait. PC version has too many bugs and server issues wait until its patch and then its worth but as of right now no its not wiorht unless you are the most hardcore MH fan.
YUDHAAP Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:49pm
NO, if they havent fix those server connection problem
Sky Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:50pm
Would wait until they fix there port.... also its better on keyboard, BAITness must be new to games that control like witcher on keyboard.

IMO the only reasons to play on PC are faster load times and playing with PC only friends.

Otherwise, the PS4 is better in every way.
Tzukasa Aug 17, 2018 @ 8:00pm
It literally loads 10x faster and if you have a decent rig you can get stable 60fps. Unless you wanna play with rando's and ♥♥♥♥ (which Im sure will be fixed soon enough) then pc is where it's at. With over 250+ hrs on the ps4 I could never go back after seeing what this game can be
WoogieRex Aug 17, 2018 @ 8:01pm
the online has issues but the loading times and the frames are nice but idk if its worth re buying unless your supper into the game then sure
Onza Aug 17, 2018 @ 8:12pm
Definitely not worth it , just look at the replies ^^^ for overwhelming evidence . Thats not to say it won't be worth it in the near future after its been ironed out a bit :)
