Until the constant disconnect problem is fixed, don't expect a lot of people to be playing in open games.

how do you know how many people are online? i get into full parties all the time.

if you are using the search feature and think that would show you thousands of people that is not how it works. it wont' show you everything. just a few. its how ti works on consoles too.

@Guild Sweetheart there's close to 250k players you can check by hitting the ALL tab at the top of this page. I haven't had any connection issues at all since I've started. I think I ran into a few for being AFK but those are inactivity things. There's just no way that connection issues explain that there's like 12 rooms out of 250k people.

So there is obviously a region lock, that would explain some of the missing rooms. They're might even a be a host to host ping limit which makes sense. Does anyone with actual computer savy know what the limitation are becaues they seem pretty strict.

I know someone recently found out that 25% of the CPU usage is devoted toward starting new threads (a waste of CPU power), and a complete screw up on Capcoms side of coding things. I was wondering how far the bad coding went it seems like this would be in the same ballpark.

Also after suffering from a ERROR, just join a friends game fixes it, thats the only way to get back online after losing connection as far as I have been able to figure out.

Its like people are playing with their friends and not randoms.

stop trying to join sessions. Most people just use the SoS feature. The sessions aren't working well right now. I've had zero issues with the SoS hunts.

Something I've wondered.. does the Primary Group we set in the game affect the people we come across in multiplayer? We can change our Primary Groups in the game. We can set it to be any of our games or our steam groups. At first I thought Primary Groups were just a visual thing in the game but maybe the group you have set means those people in that group are your multiplayer options. Smaller group = less people to play with. Maybe if you set the Primary Group to this game itself you get more people to play with. I remember there was information released before the game came out about steam groups being linked with multiplayer. That could be why some people are having better luck than others finding people to play with.. It's just an idea though I'm not sure if this is what the problem could be.

All 200k huh, that makes math sense.

I only see maybe like 3-5 at a time. That also makes no math sense.

Get to your groups, we got a full lobby last Saturday and planning it again tomorrow.
BAITness Aug 17, 2018 @ 7:53pm
Buddy I wanna play with you, really I do. The network problems say we can't though. This is like Romeo and Juliet. Except I am not Romeo, or Juliet, or a lead actor, or even the understudy... at best I am the janitor. We will still play together I hope. After they finally freaking patch it.

Ya that was a good guess, tested went from lower groups to higher member groups to no effect. All similar in amount of rooms. I think Capcom forgot to ECHO past NAT and other things that might cause players from seeing one another.

Again math wise doesn't make sense I have no issues and I see that plenty of other people have no issues so to say that these issues affect more than 80% of people doesn't quite make sense.

-Online issue
-Cheater Corrupt save (fear people to play in multiplayer)
-People Play with her friend

you have no issues "yet"

your falling for a simple small sample bias of just yourself.

there is a known and confirmed connection issue in the game, which explains why.
