Consoles have been having connection issues since launch
Don't get your hopes up that it'll be fixed, it's a garbage P2P system with garbage netcoding.

Consoles still to this day suffer from connection issues albeit less severe, don't get your hopes up that a patch will fix this if consoles are still plagued with these connection issues.

If you want proof.

"PlayStation 4 users have been contending with 50152-MW1 for months"

Be as much as a fanboy as you want. Truth doesn't care about your feelings, nor does Capcom.

I`ve heard it runs like crap on the consoles as well. Xbox1 S at a almost unplayable level.

PlayStation 4 users have been contending with 50152-MW1 for months, and many users reported success with a workaround that involves either logging out of and back into the PlayStation Network and/or rebuilding the PS4's database.

A ton of these players that 'complained about" 50152 which is a way different error then a 502 or 503, is because they where playing on wireless when the game said you need to be wired in order to have a STABLE CONNECTION.

I had no problems after a week after launch on mon hunt on either ps4, and 2 weeks on xbox because xbox had way more problems then the ps4 release.

You blindly listen to shacknews which is just a news reporting site.

PS4 also has to deal with the PSN
So any issues the PSN has the user will also.

Its not just one thing

Also, it isn't peer to peer. It's peer to server to peer. It validates your game through the server, but that's about it.

If it was peer to peer, it wouldn't even be an issue. Peer to peer is one of the best things because the only factor is the connection between two players and port forwarding makes it gg no re.

I would have much rather preferred it was peer to peer.

LMFAO

You're really trying to defend Capcom network coding by saying the issues are because people use a wireless connection?

No other game in existence currently suffers from being played in wireless mode.

Please just keep trying to defend this garbage.

I bought this game on PS4 on launch, and only had connection issues like 3 times in 6 months. Althought PSN is trash, it didnt fail as much as the pc version. I cant even play longer than 10 minutes without getting dc.

Please do some research before you post stuff, and actually play the damn games on a wired connection like you should.

do you know how error codes work? just because its the same error code it does not mean its the same root issue. That error code is just a disconnect error. The way consoles and Steam connects peer to peer is not the same, therefore one may be easier to fix than the other. For instance, on consoles Sony/MS has likely pushed back at Capcom (with not our problem, other games arent having issues, you fix it), but Capcom cant fix it easily.

It could be similar thing on Steam, but it could also be an issue with Steam and switching over to a new networking model that they did recently. But even if the issue is the same it is much easier to fix stuff and push patches (certification wise) on PC than it is on consoles. On PC you have a ton of possible workarounds (routing) that you can try. on Consoles you eitheer go through MS/Sony or you dont do it at all, no options.

So likelihood of fixes is much higher on PC than it is on consoles, even to the point of custom software made by people.

Its not even the same error code as most people on pc are getting 503 and 502, not 501.

All my games work fine on a wireless connection though. This is the only game that doesn't work AT ALL.

Now go cry about the negative reviews fanboy.
