SOS-Signal / Notsignal
I am having a real hard time to get help with my quests.
and if i turn it around and search for signals, i find the amazing amount of 2 low rank and 0 high rank signals.

1. Yes, i tried searching with different preferences and even without any specifications.

2. Is ist really just 2 players of the 2 mio. sold copies asking for help?

3. Is it bad connection/routing/whatever on their servers?

you need to read the discussion a lot

there is an issue for server right now, and CAPCOM already on it

so most people probably avoid playing online atm, since it will only get you DC'ed most of time
You can also find a room wiith ppl in it and ask for help before quest

Even on discord

Some people yes.

I've played the last few days with relatively few issues. For example last night I did 15-20 hunts without any real issue. A few hunts with friends, several SOS I sent out and several I have joined. One did d/c, and one did have a single person drop.

Not bad really.

But yes, I know some people have it worse. That may be the OP's issue. But without numbers we can't say most people get D/C most of the time.

well i am too, playing it fine online, tho in my case i only play around 8AM JST - 2PM JST, which i see the server runs fine, the rest of it is mostly got DC'ed again

i'm not saying it's bad itself lmao :bite:
Du siehst nur die SOS signale aus deiner aktuellen session
kann sein das einfach alle low rank sind haha

Gotcha, I was just clarifying. Cause so many people say it never works, or it always crashes or w/e. Some people are doing ok. Hope OP finds a solution.:mhwgreeting:

OP you can change your steam data center. Apparently that changes who they match make you with. Want to try that? I supposedly helped someone else.
There's also the problem with people memory editing their crap and making the experience worse for others.

I don't think SOSing will be that popular on PC due to this.
Playing with friends or set communities is your best bet.

SOS is the only part of the multiplayer that will be used at all
i havent seen a single person in the gathering hall
0
because capcom thought its a good idea to have 1 workshop in the whole game
they dont wait for people to join their quest either they just take it run in and pop the sos

the chat system sucks and the voice chat is unusable without push to talk so rip multiplayer interaction

@Penguin Soldier:
Nein, das stimmt so nicht. hab schon die verschiedensten sprachen getroffen.
ausserdem sind notsignale komplett offen, nicht auf die session begrenzt.

@everyone:
i see. so it really is the case that there are just almost none sos-signals out there at the moment.

EDIT:
Thanks for the hint about the data-center. that may be worth a little try.

Which is why I said friends and communities are your best bet to a more enjoyable experience and less risky.
You're welcome to playing with randoms, but there are risks since there's zero anti-cheat to stop people from editing values.

Supposedly they can force other players to gain items they do not want. So it's not just instant killing monsters, it directly ♥♥♥♥♥ your progress.

Holy milking-cow-kaiju....
people really do that?
where is the fun in such stuff?
i don't care what they do to their single-player savegames, but i freaking hate online-cheaters/hackers.

Vorgestern noch mit nem kumpel zusammen gezockt. waren nur wir beide in einer session.
Trotzdem hab ich noch alle möglichen notsignale gefunden und konnte beitreten.

gestern waren es nur wenige und heute (fast) keine mehr.
