Anyone else hate the rotten vale?

I kind of like it since I'm walking on and inside of Dalamundar's corpse. Which is the super boss of MH 4. Musics not bad too.

its basically one of two zones with harmful enviorments so i actually am kind of fond of it, it makes some buffs actually worthwhile.

BTW, you can ignore the effluvia effect if you wear a mantle (like the bandit mantle or vitality mantle), it acts like a re-breather.

All the effluvia stuff can be countered with armor/gems.

Edit: It also has a supply of mandragora and ivy. There's also a secret area you can climb to, I don't know if it's new since I played last or if I just never knew it was there on PS4.

Could it be because its so dark and dreary? Or do you hate like, the level design of it?

Idk I almost like it the most. I mean that strange fog there is kind of annoying, but it fits. I also enjoy the layout of the map itself, and I like the dark/rotten asthetics. And also, (minor Spoiler alert if you haven't progressed to Hunter Rank 14 yet) Vaal Hazak there is one of the best looking Elder Dragons imo.

I just realized something I hate about that place. Eating at the canteen. The handler has a mask over her face, meanwhile your eating with all that toxic crap getting into your food.

You know it must stink down there.
