Can't find Nergigante tracks

I have this problem since 3 days ago, I explored Elder's recess and first time I could't complete the bar of investigations of Nergi, I tried later but I couldn't find Nergigante tracks anymore, this is a big bug/issue, I tried a lot of times but I can't find them and Insects won't turn blue around them either.

I have rank 12 and I can't progress, Capcom please fix this.

Does anyone else have this problem?

After sighting all 3 monsters in elder recess, there should be plenty of nergi spikes around.

Are you all doing expeditions to find his tracks? You cant find them by doing missions there or investigations, expeditions is the only way.

Yeah I'm doing expeditions and I also found all the monsters in the area plus saw the related cutscens. Also my quest progress is at 'Find tracks of the Nergigante' or something like that.

I had somewhat similar problem in that after the first time discovering elder recess i found a lot, but after that... it was like there was only ONE spike in the entire map per visit, i managed to complete it, but it was annoying >_>

Sometimes you just need to run around a lot until you find them. Sometimes you get into a groove and find a ton back to back, other times it takes a while.

I don't think it matters, but when I had a hard time finding tracks I would leave and come back in hopes it would change the spawn spots :)

I did this a few days ago, and i found maybe 1 track more than i needed.
If i remember correctly some of the points i found them was
1: At the start near camp where the path forks to the right
2: At the start near camp you go down underground, found alot in that area.
3: In the lava area. This is where i found the last one after running around the entire lava area.

I solved trying it again.

I will try to explain how to do this quest (I speak spanish so I'm sorry if you can't understand)

-The problem with the tracks is that they can be anywhere in Elder's Recess area, ANYWHERE
You can see pics in my profile from where I found the tracks.

- Second, these places are different for other players, don't worry if you can't find tracks where your friends found them, just explore ALL the area.

- Third, it's probable that you can't find more than 2-3 tracks for expedition, if it's not completed just back to Astera and back to Elder recess. If you are doing well you get rank 13.

And that's all, when you complete the bar you unlock Nergigante urgent mission.

This is just a tip, you can do this quest faster with the hunter's headgear alpha, just kill high rank jagras (not great jagras) for materials.

I have an issue where I left the expedition, it says the investigation was over, but the quest didn't complete
