Diablos ?

Can it be that the Diablos is a bit too heavy to handle ?.He is nearly OP my weapon bounces on him everytime.

I had some issues with him. Still do tbh, but you can easily cheese him with lance. Just counter his attacks, usually plenty of time. With lance it's kind of easy once used to blocking.

Without lance tho, I can't deal damage to him without eating hits. And those hurt.

Lance is a weapon that makes everything harder lol
what do you use normally ? great sword ? that would be the only weapon thats slow enough to make you trade hits lol

All the dangerous monsters you encounter for the first time as a newbie are a little too heavy to handle, up until you beat it and move on to the next one.

Unless you use a hammer, don't go for head, but his butthole or back(when he is in pitfall or stunned by noise thingy.

He will also get tired every now and then and expose himself for some free hits.

Alternatively just lance him to death, preferably with ice lance.

I normally use the lance now, and while you bunch roll around like toddlers I keep aggro up by dealing actual damage. Only time I need to drink potions is when I answer chat messages. Lance basically negated economy since whetstones are free. Why would I ever drink a potion again? Only way to take damage with lance is by falling asleep..

However I used to use hammer since 4u but believe it or not, I never fought dia in my 500 hours of 4u and gen. So yeah, it felt that if I dodge his attacks the openings are too small for more than a few hits. I play multiple weapons anyways, and lance is by far the easiest, no idea what you're on about. I know that its not about the type of weapon to beat a monster. But there are different solutions. And holding RT while waiting for a charge to counter that dumb dia is THE most braindead thing to do to beat him...

or you know you just combo him a few times with charge weapons and ♥♥♥♥ him in 15 minutes
it physically hurts me to play lance but i guess its your thing if you enjoy barely moving like the clunky piece of ♥♥♥♥ that the lance is while poking the monster with an oversized tooth pick that still deals less dmg than an actual toothpick for 30 minutes straight

the story makes you fight diablos right after rath
so you just went and farmed rath 20 times before doing the next story quest lmao

Use an Ice or high Raw damage weapon. Diablos is resistant to fire.
