What's the deal with bagel goose?

I know everyone hates on him so much for interrupting ♥♥♥♥ but I love the friendo. Azure Rathalos is a much bigger ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, who seems intent on being a ♥♥♥♥ and nothing else no matter what I'm doing. "Nice dodogama you are fighting, I'm going to ♥♥♥♥ your day up." "Nice nothing you are fighting, I'm going to ♥♥♥♥ your day up." While Biscuit Swan is over here like, "Nice dodogama you are fighting, here, let me help!" or "I see that blue-ass ♥♥♥♥♥ is being a ♥♥♥♥♥ again, here, let me kick its ass for you!"
In all fairness the bombs have been a problem once or twice before when I'm not expecting him to come, but after that he's pretty chill and helpful, then ♥♥♥♥♥ off when whatever I'm fighting runs away or goes to sleep or whatever.

Don't get the hate either. I captured him and wanted to release him in my room but for some reason the game won't let me. Only small creatures the housekeeper says. What a killjoy.

There's far worse out there. Agreed on the Rathalos. He seems more willing to attack hunters than other monsters, or maybe that's just me.

Bazelgeuse is basically serving the same purpose Deviljho did in 3 Ultimate, showing up just about anywhere, interrupting just about any quest.

Difference is, Deviljho was legit terrifying, while Bazelgeuse is more "oh god this guy again".
