you have to visit the locale find him complete a quest n return as you have to prove your worth to them

is it the story quest ?
if it is go to the top of the great forest where rathian and rathalos make sweet sweet dragon love and you will trigger a cutscene

You gotta go to the area 17, you will trigger a cutscene where you encounter a new wyvern. After that you will find the Wyverian and they will give a task to kill the monster. Hope this help :)
