Daora's Gem droprate 0%????

I've been killing and carving Kushala many many many times (days, weeks) now including breaking his head and tail but still no luck. What exactly is the drop rate of his gem? I've already gotten a couple of teostra's and vaal hazak's gem but for some reason daora's gem doesnt seem to drop at all like ever.

did you pet poogie until it loves you? I know this sound stupid but before every quest I pet it and most of the time I get the plate or gem depending on monsters..

Meld or gold investigations. I've gotten probably 3-4 gems out of the 16 times or so I've hunted him.

Poogie is an old myth from way back when.

I suggest wearing the legiana set bonus for the bonus loot, and doing gold reward investigations.

The only true way to increase your luck is to make love to poogie, wait 5 months, then offer poogie's firstborn to the melding pot to deactivate the desire sensor

I wanna say it's a 2-3 % carve on the body and 1% on tail. I had to kill kushala a lot of times to get the 5 gems I needed. If you can get a multi gold investigation that's the easiest way but if it's a 1 faint your better off soloing that.

Don't save your melding tickets, dude. Just use it, you can still get one weekly from dailies.
Trust me, it's gonna save you a LOT of time, not to mention all them frustration when you don't get one from an intense hunt(s).

If all else fails, get 3 people with cluster bomb builds and farm it using that method.

If all else fails, get 3 people with cluster bomb builds and farm it using that method.

It's usually better to solo when farming w/ cluster build since you'll just knock the other cluster bombers over even with a rocksteady.

Use 3legiana pieces OR 3commission pieces OR 4 guild cross armor

guild cross armor give an effect better than 3legi set and commission allows you to get 1 guaranteed additional carve, also eat for felyne carver (high) or lucky cat at the canteen
