How do you sell the starter kinsect

I don't use the IG. I was able to sell the starter glaive but it won't let me sell the kinsect
How can i remove it from the inventory?

unequip it first.

You don't really need to sell anything if you've only started out... Unless you're using a HBG/LBG.

You can notI! It doesn't matter if you sell the IG or making new weapon, the starter kinsect will stay in your inventory for life. I meant there will always 1 type of kinsect that will stay in inventory for life at all time.

well that's sad, i hope someone does a mod just to allow players to remove it, Yes, i'm that kind o person who get fustrated when something is out of place
