best hbg with wyvernsnipe?

played the teostra and legiana hbg, but dont like the wyvernheart attack. what are good alternatives? :D

Its all ammo dependent you know.
There is no such thing as "best HBG" if you don't specify which ammo you want to use.

For me its Magda HBG, as I like cluster and sticky most and prefer wyvernsnipe too.

I used to Magda before the zorah hbg. Its probably the best hbg in term of WS currently.

Diablos is the only one worth using if you're looking for good damage. Magda has way better ammo variety but the damage is also much lower, so it's better only if you're looking for a support HBG.

Diablos' is probably the best option if you want to focus on the special.
Put on Special Ammo Up and Focus and go to town. Really fun build for big animals but clear times are pretty mediocre.

lol. i got a good laugh though.

magda is good for the kaboom ammo but i forget which i prefer for WS myself... i know it packed a good amount of pierce shot as well so i could basically sit at long range from the group and pelt the monster with all the constant damage... i wanna say it was a kulve weapon or lunastra's gun.

i use kadachi lion a lot also the diablos, the diablos is very good for xeno with atillery 3 + peak performance

Magda is worse than Blazooka for wyvern ammo and its sticky 2/3 has too much recoil to build for that. Magda is basically your starter cluster/support HBG until you grow up and go full Jho.

Wyvernhearth is better with Deviljho HBG, it has the most raw damage of all hbgs

Why Kadachi lion though?
Its best slicing HBG, but slicing isn't exactly a powerhouse ammo and KL itself have very low power compared to others.

BS, while magda is worse then zooka for wyvern ammo, sticky 2 and 3 work excelent with it-it literally exists to shoot these ammos, you need at least 2 recoil reducing mods for it and you'll do perfectly fine.

Ya when you are pumping out 87 damage a bullet in wyvernheart the deeps gets unreal! A little cluster stagger followed by a sticky stun followed by unloading to the face = 1 dead monster!
