Whetfish Fin... Plus?!
Apparently I must've snagged something rare yanking this bad boy out of a pond in Coral Highlands. How hard are these guys to find? I'm almost tempted to just keep it in my box.

They are quite rare. They last for quite awhile though as it's reusable. I get 3-4 sharpens before it's gone.

I might keep it hanging around until I get a blue or white sharpness weapon. Something tells me I might find a few more before that happens, though.

Rotate areas 1 and 8 for chances on finding the whetfish.

I always catch this at elder recess camp 8. Already have 29 of this.

The great version of the fish is at least easy to notice when it's there, I'd hate to miss one.

Usually, the monster would leave the area and move to next one, that leave you ton of time to sharpen your weapon :) I don't think I ever use whetfish fins in any hunts yet, even I got 800+ the regular fins and like 100 of rare fins :steamhappy:

I tend to use them since they lock in white sharpness with a protective polish jewel.

And for some weapons that's big boost in their damage.

On top of that Sharp jewel is one slot compared to 3 or 4 for handicraft. Meaning more skill options.

But RNG hates me and my 3 hours of fish grinding has yet to yield a +.
