Monster Hunter: World

Monster Hunter: World

Statistiche:
So MHGU on Switch....
Totally worth it! Game has much more content. The only complaint I have is 30fps. I just really dislike anything under 60fps nowadays... but, everything else about this game is amazing! So much stuff to do, so many monsters, so many more combinations with palicos and equipment and such. It really makes MHW feel like half a game content wise.

If you were on the fence about getting a Switch, this one game is worth the purchase imo. (then you have Zelda, Mario, Octopath, NES originals for $20 a year, ect...) System is underpowered... but, yeah. MHGU is amazing... so I had to buy one. Just a semi-review for those on the fence. Get it!

I was going off my experience and the experience of others that have been posted on this site.
https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=38688

I didn't try to do the full completionist run with every weapon because I didn't like generations enough to do that. But according to that site people who did a full completionist run and took their time with it beat it within 450 hours.

Now I ask you for proof to show me your friends saves in generations where they have over 1500 hours

1) How about you post the correct game we are talking about? Generations isn't on the Switch and that is the game in question regardless of the one YOU played. We are not talking about the one you played. Generations doesn't even have G-Rank lol.

Here's the true link: https://howlongtobeat.com/game.php?id=47348

2) Notice there's only one single person who has enough hours to have completed all of MHGU and he's over 600 hours.... and I guarantee you that is not with all 14 weapons at max G-Rank.

3) Have you NOT seriously heard of all of the MHG players with over 1000 hours? Like I'm going to be able to access friends of mine's accounts and post them here... lol. You seriously think that no one has over 1000 hours on MH games? You are insane if that's what you think. The evidence is all over the internet. You look it up.

Post accurate information if you wish to argue with me.
Its still 600 hours lol dont know where you're getting 1500 hours from without hundreds of hours of idle.

And we are talking about generations and generations ultimate here I never said anything about any of the other monster hunter games. And i'm posting actual evidence showing that people got under 750 hours in it. If you can find me evidence of people who have played generations and generations ultimate for over 750 hours without idling then that would be nice but so far you're just getting all defensive and saying "b-but muh friends did it believe me!" As I said If you can show me proof that people have got 1000-1500 hours in generations ultimate without just idling for hundreds of hours then I'll believe you. But so far you're wrong and as the other guy said you're just trying to validate your purchase. Either way arguing with you is pointless because you just ignore any evidence lol so I'm done.

Here's a thread of people chronicling their hours in MHG, a game with MUCH less content than MHGU on the 3DS no less (can you imagine spending 2k+ hours on a handheld? Well, these people did!)

https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/163462-monster-hunter-generations/75102017

You want me to keep destroying you in this argument or have you had enough of an a$$ whooping? Lol.

I know that you are going to ignore the thread and say that it's not "proof" and to pre-empt that I will just laugh at you for being ignorant and trying your hardest to ignore facts while trying to prove your false point.
Can you show me that these people did this all in one save file and not across multiple saves + show me they didn't idle? Didnt think so lol. I never said you couldn't get 1000 hours out of it across multiple saves that just moving the goal posts of the argument. And I can guarantee you these people would have been grinding each monster about 100+ times each if they did it on 1 save. But hey if farming things over and over 100+ times each is fun for you then I'm glad you can get 1000 hours out of it. But most people who have a job or some sort of life priorities aren't going to be interested in doing that and they will stop playing once the content dries up. And on average thats only 100-600 hours so yeah my point still stands. At least in the evidence I posted people actually reported what hours they did for just story and completionist. And theres only 2 people in that thread who reported over 1000 hours 1 says he had to start nnew games to get that much.

There's just as much proof in the thread link I posted as in the link you posted. People on a fourm saying they have over 2k hours in Generations. There's no screenshots in your thread and none in mine, so you have just as much proof as I do.

Can you show me in your link how those people actually got 100% of EVERYTHING in the game without just "saying they did" in 600 hours? No? Didn't think so. Want to keep losing?
Not openwworld and switch cost alot for just 1 game.
Monster Hunter Loading: The game, lots of recolors, and a really dated gathering system. Mind you I own this game on Wii U (I think?) or was that 3DS... one of those, it never made am impression on me. I suppose different strokes for different folks.
It's easier to port than made from scrap. Most people should know MHGU were a ported from the older titles.

Biased is not a review. Also there is no point buying the Switch just for MHGU.

Mhgu barely has more content over generations, who the heck thinks it has a lot more?! Once copied my save over, 96% of the game was done.

If you are civil with me, I am civil with you. You come at me negatively, I come back at you 10X harder. That's how it goes. No remorse.

sadly switch has bad business practices for online, that's no good and holds a lot of people back

it's really no worse than PS plus or xbone gold, yet people only choose now to ♥♥♥♥♥ and moan about muh 'paid online play'

unless it's about the comparatively worse free games, and even then it's not like PS plus has offered anything good except for bloodborne, and even then it wasn't the GOTY edition
Messaggio originale di Yuri Vladromavich:
Don't get why people compare this game to MHGU. MHGU is an advanced game made for the fanbase, MHW was a step towards the casuals who might be interested in this game. The game does look awesome, but I can't do the low res handheld system anymore, this game shifted to a lot of consoles. Any MH game is worth the purcahse though.

Well, I wouldn't just say that it's more casual-friendly. As an avid Monster Hunter fan that has played just about every installment in the franchise, starting with the first on PS2, I have to say that I enjoy Monster Hunter World's animations and character movement, altered weapon movesets, the character controls and better weapon balance (opinion). Overall, I have come to enjoy MHW more than any other Monster Hunter game and I haven't even delved that deep into MHW.

When it comes to wanting the classic 'hardcore' Monster Hunter experience, the old Monster Hunter games will fill that desire far better than Monster Hunter World (opinion). You don't have infinite use of certain items and the older games don't tend to hold your hand as much as MHW does. Concerning difficulty, MHW will more likely than not be considered to be the easier game because of the QoL improvements, infinite item usage for certain items and lack of a 'G-rank-like' endgame. However, I personally believe that MHW has more difficult base monsters. Both small monsters (especially) and the large monsters seem like they spend less time pivoting and hopping around; they will approach you and attack you almost immediately.

The classic-style Monster Hunter games and Monster Hunter World are both worth it in my opinion.

Yeah no, microsoft and sony are also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ for not being able to keep it in their pants.
Especially microsoft for normalizing this in the first place and for turning console online play into ♥♥♥♥.

Just because nintendos attempt at aping the latest anti consumer tactics "ees cheap" doesn't mean they get a free pass no matter which thing that has nothing to do with online play comes bundled with it.

Honestly, I'm puzzled how people are all like "yeah it's kinda bad but if they had n64 games instead, that would make it a-okay" like the kind of key dangled in front of your face to distract you is the problem here.
