Yes, especially Flinch Free level 1. It's a godsend for me so I don't have to worry about always getting knocked back by other players (except certain hits that sends me to the ground, but I'm okay with that).

so flinch free is for players that accidentally hits you or something? if so ill down grade my lvl 3 to 2 if thats the case

Attacks have different values, flinch 1 will prevent almost all player inflicted knockbacks and some swipes/bumps from smaller monsters. Lv2 and 3 deal with most monster aoe's, small monster bigger hits and medium charge/turn bumps (not head on). You either have lv1 or lv3, most people stick with Lv1 for SoS, but Lv3 is pretty good if you want to facetank a lot of hits that would otherwise stop your combo briefly when knockedback/dodging. Lv2 isn't worth it since it dosn't prevent as much in comparision to Lv3.

Depending on your weapon and who youre playing with, flinch free 1 should be fine when playing with randoms. I dont really need it at all when playing with friends, since we all kinda know how our weapons work and how we position ourself.

attached to Vaal head when he is down... then he get up standing on 2 feet bursting his stinking breath, while I still attached on the head elemental discharging.... that was crazy experience. Not sure if it's skill or there's no knockback on that move.

Depends on your class really. IG becomes auto immune to player flinches when ground attacking. Obviously, you'll get staggered to hell if you're doing anything else like aerials or just running to the boss. I hear hammer also has an attack that prevents flinching, but no one wants to use it.

you don't really need it depending of the weapon you use, in fact, the following weapon have flinch free level 1 builtin most of their moves :

- gunlance
- hammer
- longsword
- dual blades
- Hunting Horn
- Great Sword
- Charge Blade
- Morpho Axe

the stick does not really care since he fly
ranged weapon does not care either for evident reasons

It's good use for melee not interupting combos by bow user's falling rocks, which can be easily triggered accidentally

There seem to be several skills like that. Where you wonder why it needs more than 1 or 2 ranks.

Earplugs, Tremor tolerance, Windpressure surely doesn't need more than 4 (Resist weak, immune weak, resist strong, immune strong) for example. Drives me a little crazy at times.:raven:

pretty sure it works, i zero sum discharge with no flinch, with max flinch, with rocksteady.

i can say rocksteady is on god tier, while i hang on to its tail when it jump around with max flinch, and i fall straight off with no flinch when it jump around.

it actually avoid you to flinch on small attacks instead of falling on your butt or such, can be disturbing at first because you lose your invulnerability when you take small hits, so the ennemy sometimes combo you, but if you stay careful on your health, you can use combos more oftens

It won't protect u from poogie wrath if u missed the Pet sign. So, it's not really working.
