I cant do the running dash with lance plz help

I pressed right trigger then y+b on xbox controller but it starts the dash then stops. I want to do the one where it makes us run fast. I am timing it correctly but I cant execute it

Blocking cancels the dash into a block, so if you're still holding block after the dash starts then it stops right after you start.

you can also do the block first, then click the y + B buttons. that will send you into a run

So I just tried it on the Great Jargras and regular Jagras and it hits once then I bounce off but I seen videos of this dash attack doing multple hits. What's up with that?

Also once the "train" starts u can alter its left, right direction slightly and u can also reverse it.

If you are too close with monster it will bounce off.
when charging, press Y to perform a forward stab that do multiple hit.

and when charging, Press A without any direction input will cancel charge, press A with foward will peform a jump, Press A with Left or Right will side step left/right. Press A with backward with do a 180 turn.

No you will bounce of if you charge into a hard spot not sure if you pick up speed that changes

When lunastra drops, u can get 4 pieces of her armor to get mind eye (or use deco which I never get any after many hrs of playing). 2 pieces already unlock your stamina cap which is a bonus. Then u can use the lance "train" attack and keep going till u r out of stamina. Nothing will bounce u off unless u hit a wall or something Super fun especially when monster is down, u keep attacking and attacking and if u overshot, just reverse ur direction ...

Yah but since using the 2 pieces stamina uncap might as well. Best is to get the decoration. But it must be extremely rare...
