Are workshop weapons any good?

I know Divine Slasher is supposed to be, but what about the others? Things like Great Bowgun, Elder Babel Spear etc.

Test it out :O divine might be the only good so far. It's not as if they're bad but there are far better weapons available. Most rarity 8 isn't as good as rarity 7 and every workshop weps falls on rarity 8.

Im using great bowgun(workshop wep) lbg for my pierce 2 lbg build. Its very good wep for pierce lbg. It has all lv 2 status round.

you can also make master bang which is workshop but not from arena...

Divine Slasher, Great Hunter's bow for status and the similar workshop offering for LBG, also a debuff gun. Outside of those, Guild Cross Circlet B and Guild Cross coil B (3 slot with no negative res, and fortitude)

Is it really that good? I tried the Kulu blast bow and was very unimpressed since you hit the blast cap pretty fast, and then you have a crappy bow with no element. If I want to get a few blasts with a bow I just slot a Blast Coating gem :/

I made it because its name was hilarious, but never actually used it outside of super easy fights since I don't know much about SNS gameplay. What makes it good? Do you activate it with Free Element or go Elementless with it?

Does it have Pierce 2 autofire? How does it compare to something like a Shattercryst?

dont bother with free element, if you want thunder just make kirin but yeah its basically the diablos of sns, not as good as element but you can make it work.

well dont count on too much since its only 200 true raw while typical diablos got 230.

now that i think about it might aswell go with jho, 220 true raw so basically elementless jewel already ontop of 21 dragon, though with -20% affinity.

Theres also barroth 210 raw -10% affinity.

All of them is kinda good but honestly, it don't worth the farm, just craft your divine slasher, if you want to play LS, and never go to arena again.
You can actually replace divine slasher with reaver calamity if you don't really farm arena, the difference is not that much if you're not a speedrunner. :P

The lance workshop is perfect for a super tank build and its alright in terms of damage.

Some of them might be okay pick ups, but none of them are best-in-slot except divine slasher.

I built the LBG today for Tempered Deviljho.
It's one of the only LBG eligible for Elementless Boost and has strong CC. It's raw damage isn't negligible either, able to use normals, pierce, and explosives.

I think the arena is alright (except the Azure Rathalos fight which is super annoying since you have to sit through his whole flying dance). You can learn a lot of things by fighting with subpar gear and weapons you're not familiar with. This week's T Bazel + T Uragaan combo is pretty fun.

I'm interested in this one as well, it looks pretty good on paper, although it can't use slashing ammo :/
