Any idea how morning and night shifting in mhw?

Dawn - 4 minutes
Day - 25 minutes
Dusk - 4 minutes

It's not random, it's on a quite fast cycle - I think about 1 hour for a full cycle.
Completing a quest or an expedition (and I believe quick travels between Astera and the Research Base) moves the time "forward" a fait bit.

Takes like 30 minutes or so real time to change cycles IIRC from morning to night vice versa
