Gama Horn deals more damage and the other one isn't bad either, it has more songs.
Those I listed have, in my opinion, the best list of songs overall.
Teostra horn deserves a mention because it makes Kirin fights trivial.
Negates ALL abnormal status effects . So no stuns, paralysis or blights. Also free divine Protection.
- Heavy Bone Horn II (all envoirmental damage negated, great vs. Xeno)
- Xeno (all Wind pressure negated, great for Kushala)
- Teo (all ailments negated, great for various encounters)
- Bazel (Blast damage, straight forward buffs...good allrounder)
- Vero (Dragon Damage, high Elders Seal, also a good allrounder)
- for Kirin I use the Kirin HH and the Kirin Set usually. sometimes Teo HH if I'm in a hurry
using all of the above isn't necessary but I'm a HH Main so fooling around with everything related is just part of the fun.
For instance, if you have a DB or two in your party, you may want to bring something with Stamina Use Reduce like Queen Vespoid. Or if you're pugging Kirin then you'd probably want Teostra's because you can't rely on your team to dodge lightning.
Heck, Dragonbone Auldhorn can certainly be useful in more than a few fights. It may not do massive damage, but negating tremors will increase dps up-time and can certainly stop carts.
Seconded, it doesn't just make Kirin trivial, it trivializes Vaal as well. That negation means your whole party doesn't need miasma gems equipped... as long as you can keep the song up.
