how do I unlock Shamos Goggles Beta

it need the + version of material from them

i went and killed some and got some + level materials from them but i still dont see the shamos high rank in my crafting window

Do you mine those red version of mining stone in HR places ?

the beta version should be avaible if you have aphla version tho. ?

I've noticed sometimes that these things can be INCREDIBLY overly nitpicky with some edge cases.

For example. The first two times I tried and failed to kill Low rank Kirin, I still broke his horn and took it with me. Unlocked Kirin set for my Palico, but it was still a no show for my own armor.

Thus throwing the whole "All you need is ONE piece of the monster used in the set!" theory into the garbage. Two horns? No armor set for my hunter, just my palico.

So it's entirely possible it's going to be a jerk until you have both Shamos hide + AND Shamos Scale + ?

That said, if you have the alpha but not beta unlocked that is ****ing weird because they have identical ingredients.

Out of pure curiosity though. Why do you want the BETA Shamos goggles? Style points I assume?

I mean, I made a pair too (and then made an alpha). But all Detector does is add an incredibly hard to see sparkle effect on the map for nodes with a little extra in them. But you will get those materials anyways and can see all nodes on the map anyways.

Plus it seems nodes without those sparkles can still give you fancier bits. So far as mining a mineral deposits without the sparkles STILL giving me extra bits anyways went.

thanks i think it was because of the scale+... i always thought u need some of the materials to trigger it i guess u need more than some...
