Palico History
Im just curious as to the lore surrounding the palico system and what species of lynian theyre classed as, I assume not grimalkynes since theyre old world.

Those are either Felyne or Melynx. Grimalkynes is not from old world. I have played almost every MonHun in existence and have never seen a grimalkynes in the older games.

not so much all of them, the protector and troupe tribes seem pretty social, the bugtrappers and plunderers I agree with you on and theres no hope for the gajalakas
