Poison Damage & Ticks w/ Poison Duration Up + Critical Status Info
From the little testing I did I came up with these numbers for poison damage with and without duration up (pink rath set bonus).
If you find something differ please correct me, thanks.

Without Duration Up:
☆______10 dmg, 8 ticks, 80 total.
☆☆_____16 dmg, 10 ticks, 160 total.
☆☆☆____20 dmg, 12 ticks, 240 total.

With duration up increased ticks by about 20%.
☆______10 dmg, 10 ticks, 100 total.
☆☆_____16 dmg, 12ticks, 192 total.
☆☆☆____20 dmg, 14 ticks, 280 total.

Critical Status skill does NOT increase damage only the speed of the build up before the status takes effect. Which is helpful later in the fight cause the threshold for the status to take effect increases each time the monster is affected by the status.

Monster HP usually hovers around 3500 when solo; give or take 1000 depending on the monster. Xeno's hp is about 7500 solo and Nerg is bout 3500.
Monsters in multiplayer whether it's 2 players or 4 have significantly more HP for example Kushala jumps from about 4k HP solo, to about 16,000 reguardless of party size as long as it's +1.
Also the threshold for a status to take effect is also increased in multiplayer but I don't have info on exactly how much.

3 or 4 poisons to a monster weak to it will take about 1/4th to 1/3rd of it's HP in solo.

Also just FYI for those that do not know:
NOT every hit from a weapon will apply build up.
About 1/3rd of hits will.
Usually faster weapons have an easier time applying build up however slower weapons tend to have a higher build up (status) damage to make up for this.

I was reading a guide on sns and they mentioned blast/poison are alright status when soloing but really bad on multi, seems like it is so.

It's about the same. Slower weapons tend to have higher status damage to make up for the fact that they are slow, but if you're using anything other than a raw great sword you're doin it wrong.
That's IF you use a great sword.

It seems most multiplayer fights each person only procs their status twice (if the fight is about 5-15min). Unless everyone is running the same status.. But I would agree ish... Para and sleep can be helpful. Proccing blast for 120 damage every few minutes is kinda meh..

Thank you for doing the science and providing data. I do like poison in mhw thanks to the hammer, and almsot went for pink rathian set but don't want to be locked into the armor :c

And also I wanna know that the poison damage shows in the panel is only gonna effect the threshold or the damage ticks in the monster fight ? and is there any possible to increase the tick damage ? Also what type of weapon is the best fit for poison damage? Thanks to everyone who would give a reply about these questions

What i showed was the damage (not the buildup). Damage is set by the weakness of the monster.
