I'm at HR5 but cant do HR3 to 5 quests...

as stated... i can only do rank 2 and below quests in EVENT even tho i'm at rank 5... am i doing something wrong?

The actual rank requirement is shown below the map. as "* HR or higher"

Stars don't mean rank. The HR required is shown on the right of the quest page, under "Conditions".

Stars do mean rank, but the rank of the quest is not equal to the hunter rank required, ie tempered monsters are rank 9 but the HR required varies based on the monster inside the quest up to HR50.

huh i seem to have it mixed up... so what should i do in order to do arena/challenge quests that are rank3 and above.. i seem to only be able to do 1 & 2

Quests / story missions is what raises your HunterRank lvl ( till HR 15) than your 'free'). So pretty much keep doing main quests and your Hunter rank will raise. :)

Yes!

u can go optional n investigation too to get more exp. But there will be HR cap that need u to unlock via assigned progression.
