Mega Support Set (Build help)
As the title suggests, I want to make a extreme support build. I'm not usually one to minmax things, but I want to try with this one.

Obvious perks to use; Mushroom Mancer, Wide Range, Speed Eater, Hunting Horn Bonus (Sonata, I think it's called?) ...what else? What would be good armor for this? The only piece I have set in mind is the Wiggler head for the 2 wide range and two slots, but what other armor pieces should I get? Thankfully, I won't need a Hunting Horn with a heal skill, since I'll have several ways to heal allies anyway, but what horn should I get, then?

I'd like some help, please.

SaS is probably better than HH for full support. Great at inflicting status, easy mounts, and no sheathing required to transition from attacking to healing teammates.

Not 100% sure but I think there's wide range from charms, and other armor pieces. From personal hunting horn experience I enjoy using the Rookslayer Drum and also the Xeno Manasheena.

free meal is nice to have too, you are using HH so perhaps considering quick shealth?

Sword and Shield can't do stuff like apply Divine Blessing to everyone, though.

Hunting horn and Sns both have their benefits. If you're going to spam out items sns is better while HH is more around smacking monsters and buffing your team.

Wide range shine on sns but Free meal would be good too if you have the jewels it would save you some materials. Wide range charm with armor with wide ranage 2 is 5 alaready. I dont use wigles since user the pig headset due to mushroomsmancer.

Amazing guide right here on steam, everything you need to know about support with any weapon https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1513217847

tbh if you want to go full support I would suggest SnS instead of hunting horn.

Widerange, free meal and speed eating that's all you need for support via items, mushromancer sucks unless you are paired with bow users and have limited amounts of dash juice, HH isn't good for this since you will sheat which will cancel your current stored notes, SnS is an obvious choice since you can eat and heal faster which can save teammates being comboed.

Sheathing doesn't cancel current stored notes. They stay around until you try to play something. Just have to be careful to not be holding any direction when you unsheath if the small note isn't what you want to play next in sequency.

Or you can go DP bow build with Quick Sheathing and critical draw. You'll be sheathing after every DP anyway to get the 100% affinity from critical draw, may as well heal inbetween. You'd just have to sacrifice some attack jewels for wide range lvl5 which isnt really an issue.

I just did a tempered deviljho with it, healing my teammates from every hit they took and I still and got the highest dps at the end with 40% of total dmg done >.>

Mushroomancer is miles better than Speed Eating because SE doesn't work with Wide Range and the time it takes to eat a mushroom is way shorter than the one to drink any potion.
