never heard about it. What is the purpose of getting them ?
Monsters vary in size. Gold crowns indicate you’ve found one of the smallest or largest possible variation (or within the margin of error to be considered it). Capcom specifically made certain events quests that have the possibility of producing said gold crowns. In terms of why do it, it’s really for completionists who want the achievement. If you don’t care for it, it’s not really something you have to worry about.
