Do you have Crit Boost? If you do go for 100%

A critical strike does 25% more damage, so if you can get your affinity to 100%,then the lower raw damage weapon will probably be more consistently good. If you use the affinity booster special tool, or have another way to boost crit, I'd go for the first one.

Overall DPS is higher with 1310 raw and 65% affinity unless you get incredibly unlucky and aren't critting.

1162 + 100%, affinity is roughly 25% more damage, which gives you 100% chance for 1400+ raw.

1310 atk + 65% aff = 1522,875 atk 1162 atk + 100% aff (0 crit boost) = 1452,5 atk 1162 atk + 100% aff (1 crit boost) = 1510,6 atk 1162 atk + 100% aff (2 crit boost) = 1568,7 atk 1162 atk + 100% aff (3 crit boost) = 1626,8 atk

Without crit boost = 1310/65%

Raw is generally better. In a perfect world, you'd be hitting weak spots only with weakness exploit. But the reality is that bosses move a lot unless you're in a try hard pro group, so you'll only be critting like half the time even with "100%" crit.

Charge blade and cluster hbg always crits though regardless of what it hits.

Depends on the weapon. Some weapons have attacks that simply can't crit, like Charge Blade Phial attacks. Others, like the Long Sword, benefit greatly from Crit builds because their best attacks can both crit and deal multiple hits at a time, allowing you to spike damage much more quickly than with mere raw. It all depends on the weapon and, to some extent, your playstyle.
