Keyboard/mouse or controller?

Anyone else planning to use a controller? I've played MH on the PSP and recently on the nintendo 3DS so I'd imagine it'll feel weird to use KB/M to play the game. Thoughts?

We'll have to see unless you know Japanese players who played MH Frontier Z or Chinese players who played MH Online that can give their opinions on KB+M. Just have your controller ready.

I use a controller and have been playing MH from the days of PS2 but a friend of mine only uses KB\M and he is new to MH so i'm going to teach him Bow\Gun build so he can play it like a third person shooter

Yea i orderd a new PS4 Dual shock controller and Bluetooth stick for my PC so i can play with the controller in my bed on my TV. I think thats the best option. Monster Hunter isn't a shooter like CS:GO or Battlefield etc. were i have to aim realy fast or so. The monsters are Slow so a Controller is most suitable :)

I plan to use both. Controller for melee and KB+M for ranged weapons. If the controls are at least as good as in Monster Hunter Online (the Chinese one), then KB+M will be awesome for ranged weaponry.

Played Monster Hunter Online with both M+K and Controller.
Can be played no problem in both ways but i prefer Controller.

ofc KBM. Controller cant control any ♥♥♥♥. Steam controller would be nice but i dont have it.

You don't know what are you talking about if for you Controller is ♥♥♥♥ when Both M+K and Controller are super viable in a 3rd person action rpg game .

As a Bow/LBG/HBG main, I'm probably gonna stick with KB+M. I can see controllers being perfectly viable for melee weapons. It'll be interesting to see how the hotkey wheel works with KB+M though.
