Well keep in mind as I said before, the power creep in Frontier is real. Armor sets with over 2000 defense, weapons with 2-3 elements + insane raw and sharpness (beyond purple even!) new skills that do crazy effects, and full sets have like 4-5 combo skills (like AuL + Sharp1, Evasion+EvadDist, etc etc) ontop of 6-7 other loose skills). Those super monsters like the Narga are meant for people pushing super endgame, heck a lot of these creatures aren't even fightable until you've hit HR999 and done the Solo a White Fatalis (not all that hard with Chamelos Lance) quest, it's meant to give those who are truly extreme and dedicated to Monster Hunter something to do besides the same old stuff everyone else does after about HR100 to HR998.
And Monster Hunter was always the Dark Souls before Dark Souls was a thing.
True but Capcom never said we WOULDN't get G - rank, they just didn't expect World to do THIS well, it's truly caught them off guard, they did say however support for the game would be based on sales and as their number one seller of all time it's gonna force them to honor that.
Just imagine Arch-Tempered Monsters in a G-rank version, we're only dealing with the high-ranks right now... then take that level even further beyond.
quest: terminal velocity great jagras: hunt an arch tempered g rank deviljho
quest: not this crap again: hunt an arch tempered g rank lavasioth
Kirin isn't that bad. Take the Wyvern Ignition or a super high fire damage GS and do draw attacks on the horn only. Repeat till dead. Functional.
If anything Arch Vaal is significantly harder due to having more mechanics than Kirin to cope with (and that he doesn't start in the normal area Tempered Vaal does).
and would also suck here...
Ill accept plesioth. ill even tolerate cephadrome. but I will NOT tolerate the ultimate waste of rescources and time
najarala would be cool, only concern is how the explody scales work with all the ledges and bumps
