Low fps on GTX 1050 4 GB
I keep getting low fps on 720p low/medium settings

How to optimize it to get constant fps?

My laptop is Acer Nitro 5 AN515-52

Specs:

i5-8300h CPU @ 2.3 GHz

8 GB Memory

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 4 GB

Yeah, no. Did you read the post? 720p low settings, this is something an integrated GPU might be able to do. He has a 1050. If you have no idea about the topic, stay silent.

Back to the topic. This doesn't sound right. 720p with low settings are comically low settings. This game is more cpu intensive than most games out there, and you do have a laptop so the cooling will drastically decrease the performance of your CPU, however even with that factor this should not be happening.

Make sure you actually brought everything down low. Disable ever special effect. Disable volumetric rendering as well. If you still can't run the game at 720p 60fps, then there's something seriously wrong and I have no idea what's the problem. Do you score so low with other games as well? Try to benchmark something else, maybe your laptop is having some issues.

well, your GPU is below min requirements
Here:
Graphics: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 760 or AMD Radeon™ R7 260x (VRAM 2GB)
Additional Notes: 1080p/30fps when graphics settings are set to "Low"

I have the same card but better cpu. My fps ranges from 45 to 60 with the dlc hd textures. Out of my head, you have to have Z prepass enabled and sh diffuse quality(?) set to lowest. The other options have less impact on the overall performance. Also try installing the kaleiden's special k mod and setting your cores to physical. You can look everything up on the internet.

edit. as mentioned above, this may be a dumb suggestion but make sure the game runs on your gtx instead of any other gpu you might have.

Since when is 760 better than 1050 4gb?

I did a quick skip throug the benchmarks, and a 1050 should be able to get around 20fps on 1080p with high settings. So, 720p with low settings should easily be able to achieve over 30fps, closer towards 60.

A laptop, even if it has the same specs as a desktop, will never perform as well. They suck for gaming. Especially newer games like Monster Hunter World. Your RAM and CPU are meh, 16GB RAM is the standard now and 2.3GhZ i5 is nothing amazing. I dunno about 1050's, but I run this game on max at steady FPS at 1080p on my TV and I have a 750Ti STRIX 4GB - which is about 4 years old now. But I have plenty RAM and a strong CPU. I imagine most of your performance issues come from you having a cramped laptop and a low spec RAM and CPU

I haven't had a frame tracker on, but it is set to lock the frames at 60, and I see no drops or anything like that. Also, the game gives me no problems when alt-tabbing out and using other applications in the background. Overall I thought the game was optomised pretty well

The performance scales quite well, there's a good range of hardware you can play this game on. However it's not ideal towards the higher end. The framerate tends to be all over the place with some settings enabled, and you can't achieve a resonable 4k performance, even with a 1080ti, which was at the time top of the tine. It doesn't utilize the CPU effectively, we needed special fixes for that. It's not perfect, but it's okay.

It's always been better, it's mobile GPU so it's around 20% weaker than it's desktop counterpart and 1050 desktop is around same level as GTX 760.

age of the card could possible have something to do with it too. if it gets fairly heavy usage and is 5-6 years old it's probably getting pretty close to the end of it's life

lmao
I'd suggest reinstalling your windows. Reinstall everything, clean fans etc. If it doesn't help, then I believe your laptop is in a bad state. However, now you should try to run MHW with MSI Afterburner and screenshot your stats in 3-4 different locations, that could potentially help.

My laptop is an Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51-50U2 but with Core i5 2.5GHz 7300HQ.
I can play Medium / High with some options off, 1920x1080, average 40FPS

It's okay guys the issue has been solved. My f****** google chrome eat almost my CPU and RAM usage. So I uninstalled it and use edge instead. It works brilliantly and got the 60 fps.

PS Don't use google chrome.

Check your power setting. Make sure it is set to high performance, not Balanced or Battery saver.
