Also stop with the melee in 4th stage. All u ahve to do is horn damage. U sitting there and hitting the legs doesnt contribute anything. Take a ranged weapon like we all do...
When she's released you'll want an ice Bow for CC and damage for sure.
The highest possible damage on her horns are ice DBs but they need CC and are useless without it.
Kjarr Ice CB is probably the second strongest weapon, followed by GS and SA, both good mounting weapons.
Don't use LBG in area 4, it has no meaningful damage on the horns and you're better off using an ice bow or a mounting weapon.

Here's some recommended builds for it:

If you don't have an organized team, here's the fastest way to get full rewards:
- at P1, don't attack her. Follow her around and collect tracks. Don't attack the gajalakas either, they will occasionally turn gold and spawn gold chips - chips and calappa haul (calappas gather around chips) will also raise pursuit level. She will leave by herself after 8 mins if no parts have been broken.
- at P3 or above, you can go for a horn break. A single team can get P3 or even P4 easily by itself if you let normal gajalakas live.
- you need to break at least 15 parts before she's released from her mantle in area 3 to trigger her fury state. For this reason you have to make her dig at least twice (she digs every time she has 5 broken parts on her, but the first dig will happen even with less than 5 broken parts). Make sure you break every single part including the gold plating at least once. Ideally you want her to leave area 2 with as many broken parts as possible to make sure she transitions to area 4 faster.
- in area 4, when she does her first fury lava breath everyone should go to her tail and drop as many bombs as they can to make sure it breaks (you need an extra hit after the animation is over to break it).
Not leaving the quest at any point will net you 2x rainbow rewards.
Inciting fury state and breaking the horns will net you 2x rainbow rewards.
Breaking all parts + the tail and hitting rewards lv17 will net you 2x rewards.
This makes a total of 6 boxes. There are 2x extra rainbow boxes, but nobody figured out the exact conditions to get them yet, if there are any.
She isn't going to go "fast" no matter what, and doing too much damage too quickly would just result in few rewards, so it isn't worth it.
Still, I've seen the different it can make. Someone toting a modded blast weapon can wreck that gold coat like it was made of plywood. O'course if they can't reach the horns it doesn't do much good in the last stage.
