Diablos high rank majestic horn won't drop...?

I defeated multiple Diablos the last 2 days but i only got twisted horns from them although they were high rank diablos and i always destroyed both of their horns.
is this a bug?
i can't seem to get majestic horns

It has a very low chance of dropping. 8% for breaking both horns. Try taking investigations with silver rewards and gold reward. Silver rewards have an 18% chance of being one, and gold a 14% chance. Other than that, i wish you luck. It took a while to get mine for my hbg.

Alternatively you could go into expedition or Optional quest,break both horns and return from if optional, return to Astera or the handler if expedition.you will receive horn breaks as reward.Makes for quick horn break runs.

Lbg/Hbg is a solid choice for this.Sleep diablos > bomb horns should break both horns and if not fire some sticky and you'll be done in just over a minute

Try farming high rank black blos investigations with gold rewards. Thats what I did to get almost all my blos stuff

Stick to diablos investigations with more silver rewards cause it has the highest chance to drop from a silver box. According to the wiki, majestic horn only drops from regular diablos because black diablos drops spiral horn+ instead in high rank.

You have 2/3 chances to get majestic horns by breaking both horns.
OP has just been very unlucky.
