Witcher 3 DLC worst yet

Jesus christ, how did anyone think the Leshen fight would be good. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ long and unnecessarily hard. This is hands down my favorite game but wow, this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ low point for MHW.

Its really not hard, I agree the unskippable cutscenes are annoying but seriously, just learn his patterns and treat him like every other monster.

What's hard about him? Set him on fire with Igni then smash the keyboard with your face until you win. If your still having trouble you can flash pod the Jagras packs.

This. Surprisingly, you need to use the items given to make the fight 1000% easier. Igni when he has birds, or when you want to stagger him, makes the fight blow by much better. The Leshen I find to be an amazing and unique fight, certainly different from most quadruped or winged beast. He stays still for most of the fight, his moves don't deal that much damage, and you're given more then enough chance to back away and heal. I used his S&S which made the fight really fun.

I know it's something no one wants to hear, but git gud. I have my complaints about Kushala Daora and his whole gimmick, but at the same time I know that I can learn to play around it. You can too, there's options for you to fight against Leshen. What weapon did you use? What specifically about the fight did you find hard?

I don't blame him. I originally found the fight infuriating. Then I figured it out and you only need to do it twice anyway. Once to figure it out and again to keep pukei alive

Props to the devs that actually put effort into this collab instead of making something cheap and quick.

Keeping the Pukei-pukei alive can be a little difficult depending on which map the Leshen goes to for the final phase, but if you're a competent hunter it shouldn't take more than 1 or 2 tries to complete the fight with the Pukei-pukei still alive.

When I succeeded the Pukei-pukei didn't even get hit once cuz we were CC-chaining the Leshen.

It was nice to have a monster on my side, even if it was just this once

Even with using the "items" (a single flame sigil thing) the fight took me 40 minutes; I spent 90% of the time being knocked around like a pinball. Definitly wasn't fun at all, and would have been 100% faster if I would have been allowed to use my own weapons.

Hated it, refuse to bother with anything involved with it.

You know you can talk to the smith guy to switch to your preferred weapon class if you're unfamiliar with the SnS, right?

I think he meant his own weapons as in his cookie cutter builds. Some people don't like the challenge of having to use something they aren't familiar with, god forbid they can't use the easy mode mantle or the strongest weapon in the game, or maybe he didn't like not having teammates to do the fighting for him. 40 minutes it's a long long time.

Well, don't do the fight then?
Its a collaboration fight, not main plotline.

Also, not being terribly bad at the game tends to help, because the fight is very easy.
The hard part will come soon and I advise you to not even attempt it, because you'll just be carting for all of us with a skill and actual preparation.

I need 20 minutes for the fight.

My spouse needed 50 and still failed.
Its almost as having actual skill in the game helps.
